Sarah Duncan

Sarah was born in London, but now lives in Bath. She originally wanted to be an Archaeologist, then an Art historian, but ended up becoming an Actress. She worked in the West End and repertory theatre around the country, but was best known for her television work, especially for playing Vicky, one of Rodney's girlfriends in Only Fools and Horses.

After Acting she became an Author, writing tons of careers books before taking an MA in Creative Writing and switching to fiction. Her first novel Adultery for Beginners was short listed for the Joan Hessayon New Writers Award and went on to be a best-seller. She has since written three more - Nice Girls Do, Another Woman's Husband and A Single to Rome  and is currently working on her fifth (working title: Sex God and Love Bunny, but that'll never make it past the editor). Her books have been sold to fourteen countries, and she hopes to stay an Author for ever, especially as she's now too old to be a Ballerina.

Favourite romantic novels: Venetia by Georgette Heyer, The White Witch by Elizabeth Goudge, Persuasion by Jane Austen

Favourite romantic movies: Casablanca, Shakespeare in Love, Notting Hill.
